Childhood friend – Friend of Stilts
Childhood friends who played with stilts when they were young.
It’s interesting to see how a language is the reflection of a culture. I learned this phrase long ago. You may hear it from some old timers. I still like to use it when describing my childhood friends when talking to Japanese.
This page is all about Japanese culture. Their customs were unique to me when I first arrived here many years ago. I’m still discovering this unique culture and I hope you enjoy this discovery as much as I have.
